Highlights Costa Rica

Although the country of Costa Rica offers its vistors beautifull view on mountains, vulcano´s, beaches, plains and forests in almost every location, there are certainly some highlights in the country. Certain tours are set up around these highlights.

First of all the city of San Jose is then one of the highlights. The centre of San Jose, for example the pigeon filled Plaza la Cultura with its Famous National theatre is for sure a highlight in Costa Rica. And also the area of Escazu with it mountainious background is a highlight.

There you find the best shops, restaurants and clubs in Costa Rica. Another highlight of Costa Rica is the famous Monte Verde Cloudforest. Here you can see how rich the vegetation and the wildlife is in a cloudforest. From there it’s a short drive to Volcano Arenal. An active volcano on a big lake. In the night you can often see the hot lava coming out of the crater.

Furthermore the national Park of Manuel Antonio is for sure a highlight. And on the Caribean side of the country Cahuita and Puertoi Viejo are highlights.

The beaches overthere offer fantastic scenerys where the vegetation often reaches the ocean. In this region you will also encounter another type of Costarican citizens, people with Jamaican background. They speak very well English which makes life for visitors who do not speak Spanish more easy.
